Dealing with Uncertainty

"God... where are you?"
I know how it feels to be uncertain.
To not know where to go next.
Or to not know where to take the next step.
I know how it feels to be uncertain,
To ask yourself if the Lord your God is really there,
Even though you have prayed constantly for a sign.
Why do I always find myself feeling this way?
Why can’t I just believe that He is there?
I feel as though I am on a constant rollercoaster with the Lord,
Not knowing where or when the ride will finally end.
But do you know what I have come to realize?
I had the power all along.
I had to the power to stop this cycle,
This cycle of uncertainty and confusion.
And I have the power because the Lord my God lives in me.
Not matter how many times the devil puts fear in me,
I have to remember that the Lord my God will protect me and be my strength.
You asked, "When will this uncertainty end?"
I don’t know.
That is for you to decide.
Because you have the power.
And the evil one knows that.
Don’t let him take what it rightfully yours.
Don't let him take the power.
I know how it feels to be uncertain.
To not know where to go next.
But you do have the Lord.
And He is certain.
