"Lord, why is this happening to me...?"

I know how it feels to be frustrated.
A feeling you wish you could just shrug off.
But it seems as though the more you try... the harder it gets.
I was filled with anger, sadness, and confusion.
I found myself questioning....Why won't I let go?
Why can't I just trust God?...
One thing I have realized is that we can't do it alone.
You have to tell God your pains and confusions, for He is waiting.
Even when it feels like you are alone..
Sometimes I think I am annoying God with all my unnecessary emotions.
But through all my complaints, the Lord is patient….
And now it's my turn to be patient with the Lord.
The evil one tells us lies that everything is too late.
Or that we have gone too far in our sin.
And the most common.. the Lord has given up on you.
I use to always tell myself that one day I will be "happy."
I waited for my circumstances to change to consider myself as happy.
I did this as a source of encouragement for myself.
But then I heard the Lord saying,
Why can't you be happy now?
You don't have to wait until the storm subsides before you decide to have peace and happiness.
Even amongst the storm, you can be at peace.
That is the beauty of faith.
No matter what your circumstances are, you are still standing.
And that pleases the Lord...
So I am going to trust God.
And if that means that I need to cry, I will cry.
If I need to laugh, I will laugh.
If I need to dance, I will dance.
Because God told us that there is a time for all these things.
So why should I be afraid?
God understands that we may not be happy all the time.
It’s just life…
He even warned us about it.
He told us that if we decided to follow Him, we will face persecution and trails.
We have all experience this one way or the other.
Yet, He has promised that He will be there with us.
So when I face trails and tribulations, I tell the Lord..
“It is not by my strength, but yours.”.
I also encourage you to say the same thing...
We fear because we believe we can’t do it.
That is why the Lord is there, because He CAN do it.
And once we allow God to dwell in us, we will make it.
Because in reality, the power is already in us.
Scripture:
"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace."
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NIV)
" He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
Mark 4:39-41 (NIV)
"For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose."
Philippians 2:13 (NIV)
"If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also."
John 15:19-20 (NIV)
